UPDATE: Okay - here's the deal, everyone. There's a provision IN THE LEGISLATION that the president can extend the deadline by 90 days if there's a possible deal in the works.

The law allows for a 90 day extension if TikTok can prove a deal is in the works to sell.

If they do that and he extends, then that’s fine. If he tries to use an EO to override the law and keep CCP ownership, that’s bad (and he’ll eventually lose on court).
