Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has confirmed through a spokesman that she will not attend President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday.
Pelosi, who attended Trump’s inauguration back in 2017, did not give a reason for skipping out on the swearing-in ceremony.

Notably, the Democrat broke her hip in December and soon after had hip replacement surgery. Still, Pelosi, using a walker, attended a ceremony for the late former President Jimmy Carter earlier this month and also attended a joint session of Congress to ratify Trump’s win on January 6.
Pelosi has attended 11 presidential inaugurations in total, according to ABC News.
