Bernie Sanders and four other leftist U.S. Senators have begged Jar-Jar Biden for one final moronic gesture before he is wheeled away to a beachfront nursing home. Naturally, Jar-Jar himself won’t be handling this request, but rather one of the many shadowy White House staffers who have really been running this country since 2021.

But what is the point of this grandstanding, other than futile virtue signaling that would never remain in place under incoming president Trump? Aaaahhhh, but these useful idiots love to pull stunts like this. It’s one of the many rituals required by their religion.

Doubling up on this leftist mystical quest, Senator Patrick Leahy from Vermont — one of the dictatorship’s greatest supporters — and Alan Gross, the American hostage held by Castro, Inc. for many years, co-authored an OpEd in The Hill today, echoing the same wrongheaded arguments found in the letter sent to Jar-Jar yesterday by Bernie and his four pals. Lord have mercy.
