Donald Trump is used to getting his own way. However, even he has been unable to hurry things along at troubled manufacturer Boeing, as it recently emerged that the president-elect is expected to miss out on using the new Air Force One.
According to the Wall Street Journal, deliveries of the next presidential aircraft have been delayed until 2029, at which point Mr Trump’s four-year term will have come to an end.
Mr Trump reportedly aired his frustrations during a call with Boeing boss Kelly Ortberg last month, who is wrestling with a wave of delivery delays at the Seattle-based company.
As well as interrogating Boeing, the president-elect has also been asking advisors about the status of the new Air Force One planes before he returns to the White House next month.
