Similar to the scenes of 2016, teachers and professors are returning to their classrooms after Tuesday’s presidential election to remind everyone how insufferably partisan they are. (That is unless they’ve canceled classes all week.)

But one Chicago high school student is going viral for pushing back at his intolerant teacher and standing his ground in front of a classroom full of teenage sheep.

The kerfuffle seemingly began when the teacher turned his daily lesson into an opportunity to encourage his impressionable pupils to dump their friends if they voted for President-elect Donald Trump. 

“What’s wrong with voting for Trump?” the student asked.
