New Texas Poll Shows Kamala, Allred Not Gaining Traction

Cygnal, a leading private polling firm, released findings from its recent Texas statewide poll of 600 likely voters, conducted from October 26 to 28.

According to pollster John Rogers, the results underscore Texas’s firm Republican alignment, with GOP candidates favored across key races.

Rogers notes that despite national Democratic efforts to flip Texas, “the Lone Star State will remain red—likely more so than in 2020,” attributing this trend partly to new Texan voters who lean toward GOP candidates like Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.

Cygnal is a GOP-affiliated pollster, but this isn't much off from other Texas polling. The real question mark is Ted Cruz, whose campaign feels like it didn't do much on TV this cycle, at least on my TV. We have been bombarded by Allred ads for two months now, but it hasn't made much difference.

Also, the most recent NYT/Siena poll shows Cruz up by four, 50/46.
