Back in 1962, I was in Cuba and listened to President Kennedy speak about those missiles on the Spanish version of The Voice of America. I can still recall that Phillips radio in our living radio and my parents listening carefully to the speech. It must have been serious because my parents looked worried. .

Over the years, I’ve met many people in the US who remember the whole thing too. One of them is Frank Burke, businessman, author and contributor to American Thinker……..we remembered The Cuban Missile Crisis on a podcast from 2016……..it was 62 years ago but somehow it does not seem that long ago.
