Trump Sues CBS News for $10B Over 'Election and Voter Interference'

“CBS and its 60 Minutes producers intentionally misled the public by broadcasting and posting a carefully, deceptively edited Interview and transcript while opting to release other portions online. Such manipulative editing aimed to confuse the electorate regarding Kamala’s lack of abilities, intelligence, and appeal,” Trump’s lawyers wrote.

In the lawsuit, which was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Trump demands at least $10 billion in damages and a jury trial.

I'll assume this is a political move rather than a serious legal claim. As a political move, it's good and relatively inexpensive. It won't go anywhere in court, but I'm pretty sure this is meant to remind voters that they can't trust CBS News. And that's already pretty apparent to most American voters.
