The UK Businesses Using Gen Z Slang to Go Viral

The vibes are immaculate, the medieval dining room has so much rizz, and the waiting area is giving zen.

It may sound like nonsense to some, but letting the Gen Z intern write marketing scripts is the latest TikTok trend to be jumped on by businesses looking to shake off stuffiness and go viral among young audiences.

From big firms like Currys and Nestlé to quaint B&Bs and even an open air museum, those making the videos have racked up hundreds of millions of views between them.

In these short clips, mostly middle-aged staff members read from a script of hyper-modern terms. It usually becomes obvious that, like many others of their generation, they have no idea what any of it means.

One particularly popular example came from Fyfield Manor, an 880-year-old B&B in Oxfordshire.
