Stinks: If FL Amend 3 Passes, Public Pot Use Can't Be Regulated

Gov. Ron DeSantis warned on Monday that if the ballot initiative seeking to legalize the recreational use of marijuana passes in November, regulating its public use won’t be constitutional.

Highlighting comments from Sen. Jonathan Martin, DeSantis said that Amendment 3 “will provide for regulating the use of *medical* marijuana in public, but not *recreational* marijuana.”

Martin said that the amendment is specifically crafted that will allow legislation to prohibit smoking in public when it’s “medical” marijuana.

“Sen. Martin is correct,” DeSantis said. “His observation is clear in the text of the actual amendment (which is not included on the ballot and which 99% of voters will never read).”

That vile stench gives me a migraine in about 5 minutes. Sure, it saved me a fortune in my misspent youth as my hard-earned grocery checkout clerk dollars went to clothes and paying for my car instead of weed, but it made going to concerts hell on my head.

I certainly don't want to walk through clouds of it downtown on my dotage.
