Anyone who wants to win this election needs to convince your rank-and-file Americans that they can rebound from the last four years. Even Kamala Harris is trying to do just that, so they all know it’s true. You’re not going to be doing that having Oprah on the stage.

You do that by addressing their troubles, and doing it in a way that at least seems plausible.
