In a letter to Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), Nadler asked the Republican lawmaker to support his investigation of alleged limits placed on Vice President Kamala Harris’s X account. “Numerous users have recently reported being blocked from following Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign handle @KamalaHQ,” Nadler wrote.
Nadler was sure to remind Jordan about the Ohio congressman’s unwavering pro-free speech stance. “Given your long track record of fighting against political discrimination on the platform ‘town squares’ of American discourse, I trust that you will join me in requesting additional information from X regarding this apparent censorship of a candidate for President of the United States,” the New York congressman added.
Tellingly, Nadler ignored the fact that he has repeatedly criticized his colleague for said track record and dismissed the issue of Big Tech censorship.
