Will Alec Baldwin's Family Reality TV Series Be a Limited Run?

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have unveiled plans for a TLC reality series featuring their young family at home.

“We’re inviting you into our home, to experience the ups and downs, the good and the bad, the wild and the crazy,” Alec Baldwin said with his wife Hilaria at his side on Baldwin’s Instagram account. Amid a cacophony of happy and screaming children at play, the series, with a working title The Baldwins, is due for release in 2025.

What happens when Alec stands trial for involuntary manslaughter next month in the Rust killing of Halyna Hutchins? Will the series include trial testimony? And if Alec goes to prison, will the series continue without him?

This announcement smells like PR intended to soften Baldwin's public image either ahead of the trial or ahead of potential sentencing, emphasizing his (very real) role as a family man. Will it work? Stay tuned ... or really, don't.
