It’s time for me to do something that pundits seldom do: Flat out admit I was wrong.
This is a rarity in the commentating world. But boy, was I.
Here goes: I was wrong about Sen. John Fetterman.

Glenn is hardly alone in this. I don't think that Fetterman has shifted from his previous liberal-nigh-unto-progressive approach to politics and policy, though. If and when Congress ever returns to legislating, as opposed to passing the buck to the executive, we may well see Fetterman reassert his Leftism in that context.
What Glenn and I and many others miscalculated, though, was Fetterman's integrity and ability to act independently. That indeed was a large and unfair calculation on our part. So allow me to join Glenn in his mea culpa, and once again pronounce myself pleasantly surprised with Fetterman's moral strength and common sense.
