The truth is that there are, in fact, privileges associated with every other ethnicity out there. Sure, there are probably upsides to being white, but privilege isn’t exclusive to those with a particular amount of melanin in their skin.

If it were, there’d be little reason to try to pass yourself off as an ethnicity you’re not.

But this is a thing and will likely continue to be a thing. It’s going to continue because we give certain people advantages we don’t give to everyone. Privilege is real, but it ain’t just for white folks anymore.
