Ed Morrissey

Nick's an old friend and a great editor/writer with unique perspectives, and this is classic Nick. I'm also a big fan of documentaries, but he's exactly right about being wary of taking them at face value. Documentaries like Super-Size Me and especially anything by Michael Moore (whom Nick also discusses here) are advocacy rather than documentation. Reality TV has the same issue, although it's pretty entertaining -- even on HGTV. (Don't get me started on the phoniness of a couple of their flipping shows.)
