Real Men of Genius, Traffic Court Edition

Judge Cedric Simpson’s face went from dumbfounded to shocked to angered all within a matter of seconds as it began to register what exactly defendant Corey Harris was doing. Shockingly, the ordeal went down in Ann Arbor, Mich., and NOT in Florida.

"Mr Harris, are you driving?" Simpson asked the defendant.

"Actually, I’m pulling into my doctor’s office," Harris responded.

"Okay, so maybe I don’t understand something. This is a driving while license suspended case, and he was just driving, and he didn’t have a license," the Judge asked the public defender in an attempt to make sure that what he thought was happening, actually happening.

Ed Morrissey

Oh, he understood all right. He was dealing with a moron. Not much mystery there.

I'll bet this still shows up in Vodkapundit's Florida Man Friday VIP post as the competition.
