With all the negativity floating around about NFL kickers, how about a story that everyone can get behind? Buffalo Bills kicker Tyler Bass helped raise over $400,000 for Ten Lives Club, a non-profit dedicated to finding homes for cats and kittens. 

Thanks to his work, the Ten Lives Club is creating the "Tyler Bass Adoption Center" in his honor. The team released a video on social media showing Bass with adorable kittens. Yeah, I said it.

I'm not going to pretend I'm not biased here, because I am. As a fellow "cat guy," there's nothing I appreciate more than a man who admits his love for the best creatures on the planet. 

Most people prefer dogs because dogs act like they care about you (they don't, you just give them food). But people have to earn attention, affection and respect from cats. It takes time and, in this instant-gratification era, most people just don't have the patience.
