Biden's Not Tough Enough on China, Says ... Jake Sullivan's Wife

New Hampshire congressional candidate Maggie Goodlander, a former Justice Department official who is married to White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan, recently criticized the Biden administration's actions toward China when she was asked whether there was a U.S. policy that she disagreed with.

“I think that there’s more work that could be done to be tough on China,” Goodlander, a Democrat, told WMUR-TV of Manchester. ...

"There’s been a good start as we’ve seen in the last couple of weeks, in the last two weeks really, from the administration to impose sanctions on Chinese state-owned entities, but there is more work that needs to be done," she said in the transcript about countering actors who are "fueling Russia's war in Ukraine."

Looks like Dems may really be worried about Biden's impact on down-ballot races, especially in swing states. Goodlander's worried enough to toss not just Biden under the bus, but her husband as well, who runs the nat-sec policies of Biden's administration. If Goodlander feels the need to put daylight between herself and her husband's performance, just imagine what other down-ballot Dems will do over the next few months to distance themselves from the stench.
