As I type this post, the courtroom of Judge Juan Merchan is in lunch recess in the NY vs. Donald Trump trial. Stormy Daniels' testimony will continue after lunch. Rather than lunch, everyone in that courtroom should take a shower and use Listerine to disinfect their mouths. Maybe get a tub of eye bleach too. There is only one reason Stormy is in that courtroom and that is to provide salacious details to embarrass Donald Trump and prejudice the disgusted jurors. The only thing the public can hope for is that the jurors are smart and disgusted, but let’s not get our hopes up to high.

Before we discuss Miss Stormy, Judge Juan Merchan informed President Trump that the trial will last another two weeks!

The unprecedented criminal trial of former President Trump resumes Tuesday morning after the 2024 presumptive Republican presidential nominee was again held in contempt of court, fined, threatened with jail time for future gag order violations, and told he’ll be required to sit in the Manhattan courtroom for at least another two weeks.

Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree. The charges stem from a years-long investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

The charges are related to alleged payments made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels about an alleged 2006 extramarital affair with Trump before the 2016 presidential election.
