I'll have more on this later. The mention of disparagement seems like a warning to NPR's lawyers, or maybe Maher's personal attorneys. As I wrote in response on Twitter, I'm pretty sure that Berliner  and I would disagree on a number of policy issues, but he's got integrity and guts. And those are enough for me to follow him and support his efforts to blow the whistle on this government-supported platform.
