Winter returns to North America

More than half of the United States will feel the cold on Monday as arctic air moves south from Canada.

In recent weeks, the West has been hit by heavy snowfalls, including in California, Utah and most recently Colorado.

Despite the press reports, February was colder than average in America. And so far this year, the country has set 197 new cold weather records ( NOAA ).

Snow in Saudi Arabia

It snowed unexpectedly in the desert of Afif, west of Riyadh.

Images of the snow-covered sand spread on social media, with both citizens and tourists expressing shock.
