I have no problem with allowing EVs to compete in the marketplace, but they simply can't, and the Biden administration knows it. If EVs were as economical and reliable as they claim, they wouldn't need heavy subsidies and mandates. The government doesn't pick winners and losers -- it picks losers, because winners don't need the help.
