Who is Driving Trump's Rising Favorables?

Amidst hand wringing over Joe Biden’s age, Democrats have been overlooking a crucial component of the 2024 election: Donald Trump is more popular now than at any point since he left office. March averages find the former president only about 9 points underwater—a significant improvement from his -15 net favorability on Election Day 2022.

While his support has ticked up among white and black Americans, the share of Hispanic Americans who have a favorable view of Trump has doubled over the last year from around 20 percent to 40 percent.

I guess Hispanic voters don't like open borders and a massive flood of illegal immigrants any more than other demos do. And Democrats are about to find that out the hard way.
