Biden's Pennsylvania SOTU Repeat Goes Badly

For all those media types who were casting Biden’s State of the Union performance as “fiery” and applauding him like a bunch of trained seals… so, how about that Pennsylvania speech on Friday evening!

Less than a day after being lauded for the SOTU, Joe and Jill Biden showed up in the battleground state of Pennsylvania. The campaign is apparently in full kickoff mode post-Super Tuesday, especially now that Donald Trump has been formally designated the presumptive nominee by the RNC. In Pennsylvania, Biden was essentially supposed to give a highlight reel of the SOTU speech, with an extended introduction by Jill. And it was EXTENDED. Jill spoke for nearly seven minutes after being introduced, with Joe standing off to the side, looking like an obedient mannequin. Once Joe got to the podium, though… oh my.

The entirety of the event was broadcasted by the campaign on their YouTube channel. Joe Biden starts speaking at 10:55, and begins the speech with the same line he used at the State of the Union: “I think I should go home now!”
