"Poor," indeed. Thanks to the nuts in the Twin Cities, "uncommitted" won more delegates than Phillips did in his own home state. It's too bad, though; Phillips wanted to encourage a serious challenger to enter the nomination race to address the cognitive decline of Joe Biden. That turned out to be a more quixotic quest than even Phillips knew.
