NEW: Georgia Legislature Passes Prosecutor-Oversight Commission Bill

A Georgia commission with powers to discipline and remove prosecutors needs only Gov. Brian Kemp's approval before it can begin operations, possibly disrupting Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ prosecution of former President Donald Trump.

The state House voted 97-73 on Tuesday for Senate Bill 332, sending it to Kemp. The Republican governor has said he will sign the measure.

Democrats claim this is aimed at Fani Willis, but it's unlikely that it will form in time to deal with her malfeasances. The state legislature is already investigating Willis, and it seems all but certain that the Georgia State Bar will investigate her and Nathan Wade and maybe Terrence Bradley as well for misconduct related to testimony and filings in the hearing. And the Attorney General may take some interest in what looks like perjury and witness tampering, too.

This commission is more aimed at Soros-backed "social justice" DAs that refuse to prosecute crimes on a personal agenda of "restorative justice."
