Hamas Rebukes Biden: No, We're Not Close to a Deal

The Hamas terrorist organization said on Tuesday that "there are still big gaps that need to be bridged," Maariv reported.

Hamas's comments came in response to US President Joe Biden saying that he hopes a ceasefire will be reached in the Gaza Strip by next Monday.

The source said, "Biden's comments on the cessation of hostilities are premature and do not correspond to the situation on the ground."

The irony of this response is that the White House is trying to pressure Israel into more concessions to get a deal in place. Biden desperately needs to get some sort of truce in place for his own domestic standing, and Israel's not willing to commit suicide for a second term of Jill Biden's presidency.

At any rate, this demonstrates that the White House is lying about the situation, and has been for months. Hamas can't accept any terms that don't include an Israeli withdrawal, and Israel can't afford any deal that leaves Hamas in place to start another war with another October 7-style massacre.
