Alright guys, I just sat at my desk laughing out loud all by myself, like an idiot, because I just discovered American Ice Football.
What is American Ice Football? Well, it's a German sport that is American football played on ice. As differentiated from regular "Ice Football" which is soccer on ice.

I thought this might have been a satire, although Not the Bee is the Babylon Bee section for real stories. This is real enough; Essentially Sports and First Sportz reported on it as well over the weekend. It even has a listing on IMDB, although there's apparently only been one game.
With that said, though ... it's pretty weird. Players don't wear skates because of the obvious safety issues in tackling, but one would think they might have figured out some footwear for easier gliding rather than the stomp-run technique on display here.
