Trump's remarks on NATO are indeed dumb and arguably dangerous, but they're not 'un-American,' for Pete's sake. There is a legit argument to be had on whether the US should shoulder so much of the burden in Europe, but it's beyond stupid to suggest that we could just let Putin overrun our allies out of spite. 

Besides, the last person who should be talking about 'un-American' is the man who abandoned 14,000 Americans in Afghanistan in the worst betrayal since the fall of Saigon.
