We will see more of these in the coming weeks, but McMorris Rodgers is a tough loss. She's effective, good with the press and public, and might have made a good Speaker in a less-dysfunctional caucus. Her eastern Washington CD 5 district is R+8, but it's not clear if an effective replacement is waiting in the wings.
