This planet is about one and a half times the size of Earth and is located “just” 137 light-years away from us, reports BILD.

Astronomers discovered it using NASA’s TESS (Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite) telescope, naming it TOI-715 b—a super-Earth exoplanet. It orbits around the red dwarf TOI-715 at a distance that could support temperatures suitable for liquid water on its surface—a crucial factor for the potential existence of life.
