From Ed: The latest HotAir/Townhall Media Straw Poll results have come in, as I wrote earlier, and we have data specific to the first two contests for all THM readers. (These do not have site-by-site breakouts.) Trump leads by a large margin in both Iowa and New Hampshire, perhaps not too surprising given the overall results posted earlier.
In Iowa, Trump leads DeSantis by nearly 2:1 (61.63/32.85) among all readers of all THM sites. Nikki Haley comes in a very distant third with 2.62%, and Vivek Ramaswamy slightly behind her at 1.74%. New Hampshire results have Trump running hotter at 67.24% and DeSantis still second at a lower 26.44%. All other THM readers participating in the straw poll split the remaining vote for Ramaswamy (2.87%), Haley (2.30%), and Chris Christie and Tim Scott tied at 0.57%. However, the sample size in NH is only half the size we have for IA, so keep in mind that margins of error would be larger if this were a scientific survey rather than a straw poll.
