Gay’s resignation — just six months and two days into the presidency — comes amid growing allegations of plagiarism and lasting doubts over her ability to respond to antisemitism on campus after her disastrous congressional testimony Dec. 5.

[Bloggers hardest hit? One of us will have commentary on this later, no doubt, but I’m not convinced that this will improve matters. The Harvard Corporation board members that installed Gay need to resign as well for gross incompetence. That *might* improve matters in the Poison Ivies, but I’m not holding my breath. — Ed]
