Just in case you weren’t invited, let me fill you in.
Nearly 70,000 climate elites recently wrapped up their annual junket. They call it COP28 to make it sound official, but in reality, it is a three-week long retreat to an exclusive part of the world. Of course, your company may offer you two days at a decent hotel for your retreat, if you get one. However, that’s not good enough for Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and an unknown number of people in her administration.
Lujan Grisham spent some time at COP28 this year in Dubai by holding press conferences with heavily-funded environmental groups and President Joe Biden’s Environmental Protection Agency. This was at least the third year in a row Lujan Grisham has jetted off overseas to lecture us on climate. The governor proudly proclaimed how she and some in her administration made the short jaunt to Dubai, but unsurprisingly left two key questions unanswered: Who paid for the trip and did she take a private jet to get there?
