Some Trump critics fear that a Cheney candidacy could siphon off votes from President Biden in the general election, but she told the Post that she would factor those considerations into her decision.
Cheney also did not rule out supporting Biden in 2024 if she decides not to run.

[What exactly would her constituency be? Trump voters hate her; movement conservatives can’t trust her. Democrats hate the Cheneys; Libertarians also hate the Cheneys for other reasons. Greens have Jill Stein, and conspiracy theorists have RFK Jr. I’m not even sure Liz! 2024 would pull votes from any of the above, but she won’t draw voters who would otherwise vote for Trump or Biden, or Haley or DeSantis if either of those win the nomination instead of Trump. — Ed]
