The Lone Adult in the Room at the University of California

The inmates are running our various asylums these days and few cultural moments have proven that as much as the recent attacks against Israel and the ensuing conflict. The Cult o’ Wokeness that has spent the last decade shoving diversity, equity and inclusion into every one of our orifices is now suggesting we all become junior Nazis and openly harass and condemn Jewish people. In fact, they are not merely suggesting it, they are outright demanding it.

WE DON’T DO THIS HERE.

So it was a sad sort of relief to discover that at least one college leader has had enough sense to tell their antisemitic snowflake brigade to take their genocidal tendencies and stuff them where the sun don’t shine…and in California of all places.

[I haven’t seen too many of them, but Jonathan “Jay” Sures really did step up at UC Irvine. I wonder how long he will last in Academia after taking a stand against its raging anti-Semitism. — Ed]
