[Ahem. Not only did Britain bomb civilians, so did their enemies — and the latter did much worse to civilians in both Europe and Asia. That’s *why* the Allies committed to total war against Germany and Japan in WWII. And that’s why Israel has committed to total war against Hamas.

Nor is this the only example of the idiocy of the over-educated. Another genius on Twitter claimed that wars are not won in the manner that Israel is waging against Hamas and Gaza, which is … the same way that *all* wars are won, actually. I’d look up the tweet, but really, why bother? — Ed]
