[It’s hard to believe, but it’s actually getting *worse*. After a full nomination process and a multiple-round vote, Tom Emmer won the caucus vote. And this time, the House GOP couldn’t even make it to a floor vote before falling apart. So apparently the caucus will hold yet another nominating process while its factions refuse to abide by the results, which means we may spin wheels until January 2025. Unbelievable. — Ed]
