Everyone who keeps track of such statistics knows that a record number of Cubans left the island in 2022. What many such statistic-watchers don’t know is that the exodus kept flowing into the U.S. in 2023. It has slowed down a bit, but not much.

Aided by Nicaragua’s dictatorship, which allows Cubans to travel there without visas, Castro, Inc. has gotten rid of nearly a quarter million Cubans in this past fiscal year.
The fate of most of these “migrants” is still undecided, but it is highly likely that most of them will be returned to Castrogonia. Meanwhile, they rot in immigration Limbo here in the U.S.
