[I am not terribly offended by this, for a couple of reasons. Biden’s tossing $100 million out for political cover with Jordan and Egypt, and that’s a pretty inexpensive move, relatively speaking. The aid will be handled by Egypt, which is no friend to Hamas or Islamic Jihad. That doesn’t mean the terrorists won’t get some of the benefit of it, but that’s more on Egypt than us. I don’t blame DeSantis for making political hay out of it, but it’s understandable even if not optimal. — Ed]
