Three US airlines cancel all flights to Israel

American, Delta and United airlines canceled service to Tel Aviv, as did European counterparts Deutsche Lufthansa, Air France-KLM and budget specialist Wizz Air.

[Delta later announced that it would cancel all flights for the rest of October. At the moment, the Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv is under missile bombardment by Hamas, so cancelling flights over the next few days makes sense. Delta sees this as a longer conflict, apparently. — Ed]
