Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson said he will be visiting the U.S.-Mexico border during a press conference Wednesday, saying he wanted to “assess the full situation and that requires our team to be at the border.”

“So going to the border is to make sure that everybody knows that my administration is committed to making sure we are putting together the full force of government at every single level,” said Johnson.
