Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Willis, a Democrat, has authored a strongly-worded nine-page letter in response to a request from House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, a Republican from Ohio.
Jordan had asked for all documents related to her prosecution of former President Trump and 18 others on charges related to election interference.
In her letter, Willis accuses Jordan of violating Constitutional principles by attempting to obstruct and interfere with her office’s prosecution. She also suggests that Jordan purchase a book on racketeering prosecution, although at a non-attorney price. Furthermore, Willis characterizes her response as voluntary, citing settled constitutional law that allows her to disregard Jordan’s unwarranted and unlawful intrusion.
