A former New York state senator took to Twitter to complain about her $206,00 in student loan debt, only to be reminder about her new $1.14 million home.

“In 2012, I graduated from Fordham Law School with $180,000 is student loan debt. I’ve been paying loans for 11 years,” New York Democrat Alessandra Biaggi tweeted, presumably in response to the Supreme Court striking down President Joe Biden’s bailout of borrowers. “Even paid two of them off completely. In 2023, my balance is $206,000.”

Also crushing her family budget might be the million-dollar home in Bedford Park, New York which “sits on 4.3 acres of land, and comes complete with two wood burning [fireplaces] and an in-ground heated pool,” according to the New York Post.
