[I’ve seen this statement floating around on social media, but this is the first firm sourcing I’ve seen on it. House Oversight and/or House Judiciary will likely subpoena Weiss to explain this if he doesn’t start turning over material related to the investigation and plea-deal negotiations soon. — Ed]
