During NBC’s Meet the Press, moderator Chuck Todd landed a sitdown interview with former Vice President and current presidential candidate Mike Pence. Predictably the interview started off by Todd asking Pence his thoughts on the indictment of former President Donald Trump due to allegations he held onto classified documents after leaving office. There’s an old saying that you shouldn’t ask questions you don’t want to hear the answer to. Todd should’ve taken that advice to heart since he got triggered immediately once Pence started talking about the two-tier system of justice in the United States.
Pence complained that Trump being indicted while Hillary Clinton is allowed to roam free is “one more example of a two-tier justice system that we’ve been living through for seven years.”
“I mean I have to tell you after seeing Hillary Clinton given a pass,” Pence noted before getting cut off by an irritated Todd.
