It’s unclear what Hostin is referring to, as she graduated Notre Dame Law School in 1994, when Pence was a radio host. He didn’t become governor of Indiana until 2013, 19 years after Hostin’s graduation. He didn’t enter his first role in public office until 2001, as first noted by National Review, when he became a member of Congress.
