Dem mayor in Florida charged with felony voter fraud

Anthony DeFillipo, mayor of North Miami Beach, was charged with three third-degrees felonies for allegedly voting illegally in three elections. He’s the third mayor of that city to be arrested in 11 years.

DeFillipo didn’t even live in his city, violating the city charter, but he drove to North Miami Beach to vote three times, in August, October, and November, according to the Miami Herald. He reportedly lives in neighboring Davie, where he was recorded in cell phone data driving from home to vote in North Miami Beach.

[Democrats couldn’t find a candidate who lived in the city? Really? Man, that’s pretty lame. As for the mayoral career route, it sounds a bit like Illinois governors. — Ed]
