Feinstein on Tuesday got on a chartered private plane back to Washington, D.C., from California, Feinstein’s spokesman Adam Russell confirmed to DailyMail.com.
[I would have been shocked if she hadn’t returned soon. It’s easier to keep her propped up in the Senate than to force Newsom to appoint a replacement among the flock of Democrats already announced as contenders to succeed her next year. — Ed]
